We have both been enjoying Speech Pathology careers for over 20 years after graduating in 2001.
We share a common goal, focusing on what is working well for a client and your family to develop the most effective communicator possible.
We want our client to be able to communicate with the people that matter to them, and the people that they need to connect with in their life.
This might be anyone from their family, and friends to the staff at the corner shop or local library.
"We believe communication is the foundation of connection. Our goal is to create a space where every individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to express themselves." — Bek & Pete Hockley
We are a husband and wife team with a great love of play and communication in all its forms. Our philosophy is based on play and connecting with others. We believe that communication and learning is best achieved when we are connected with another and experiencing joyfulness. Sessions involve chatting, play and fun while we develop our client's effective communication methods.
Bek loves working with children (0- 8 years of age) who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, differences in language and communication, difficulty with reading, social thinking differences and speech sound differences.
